Abstract
The investigation (reported earlier*) of the reproducibility of monochromatic MTF measurements on a standard wide�angle lens is now being extended to the polychromatic case. This paper reviewed the basic test parameters which must be considered in such a case if accurate results are to be obtained, and discussed the first results of the new intercomparison exercise. *Optica Acta v 22 1975 p 249-264
