Abstract
A 1553B bus test scheme is proposed for different types of airborne environments. The program is applicable to the SMS avionic bus and weapon bus (1553B) testing. The testing process includes analysis of the underlying hardware drivers and upper application software. The complete data flow testing process truly reflects the performance of the SMS products in the actual airborne communication environment. The test steps follow the five steps: forming a test environment, formulating test data protocols, configuring test data, writing test software, and analyzing and comparing test data. This article focuses on three key steps of how to develop a test data protocol, configure test data, and write test software. Finally, the feasibility of the test method was verified through a project example.
