7 October 2019 Corner reflector based X-band DInSAR experiment over Jharia Coal Field, India

Abstract
Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (DInSAR) is considered to be one of the most accurate geodetic techniques for monitoring Earth's surface change phenomena. Corner reflectors (CR) are widely used to validate the DInSAR generated deformation results because of their better phase stability and higher radar cross-section. A controlled experiment has been performed for carrying out a sensitivity analysis of DInSAR technique with the controlled vertical movement of CR in between two COSMO-SkyMed tandem passes over Jharia Coal Field. From the results, it has been observed that CR-based DInSAR experiment followed the similar displacement trend with a maximum of 10% error limit.
