Abstract
Numerical studies of the diffraction of vortex beams on a circular diaphragm in a homogeneous medium are carried out. An analysis of the evolution of the diffracted beam from the degree of its overlap showed that partial screening of the beam leads to a loss of symmetry of the ring structure of the Laguerre-Gaussian beam. The smaller the degree of screening of the beam, the smaller distances at which its wavefront is restored. The degree of screening of the beam increase, the number of screw dislocation points increases with the same sign, but with a lower topological charges.
