Abstract
FLAC3D, Monte Carlo and transfer coefficient method are used to evaluate the stability and risk of Nanqiao landslide in Zhouqu of Gansu Province. The results show that the bottom of Nanqiao landslide has a large displacement in the horizontal direction, with the maximum displacement of 1.51e-002; the rear has a displacement in the vertical direction, the maximum displacement is 7.50e-003. The landslide is in a stable state under natural conditions, with a stability coefficient of 1.46; it remains basically stable under rainstorm conditions, with a stability coefficient of 1.139. It begins to become instable under earthquake conditions, with a stability coefficient of 0.911; it is in an instable state under earthquake and rainstorm conditions, with a stability coefficient of 0.711. The sensitivity order of landslide stability factors is cohesion greater than internal friction angle greater than soil weight. Nanqiao landslide has a high risk under rainstorm condition, with an annual failure probability of 1.7%; it has high risk under earthquake condition, with an annual failure probability of 6.2%; it has medium risk under rainstorm and earthquake condition, with an annual failure probability of 0.37%.
