Abstract
In order to accurately evaluate the traffic state of intersections in the urban road network and provide the basis for the formulation of urban management and control schemes, this paper studies a method to construct the traffic state model of intersections by combining VISSIM simulation with principal component analysis based on the easily available parameter indexes. The road network simulation is carried out by easily obtained detection parameters, and the traffic characteristics and traffic topological structure characteristics are combined to construct the intersection traffic state model which needs multi-index and multi-data. Combined with principal component analysis method, the index weight is quantitatively analyzed by using existing multi-dimensional data, and the quantitative analysis weight method to avoid subjective assignment weight is adopted to obtain the comprehensive evaluation index of traffic state. Taking the area of the Third People’ s Hospital of Datong as an example, the comprehensive evaluation indexes of three adjacent intersections are calculated and compared, and the actual state of the intersection is compared and verified. The results show that the evaluation model can accurately reflect the operation status of the intersection, which is conducive to the identification of key intersections and has reference value.
