Abstract
Spiking Neural Network (SNN) is a newly high bionic neural network with great potential in the future. However, the relevant research is not enough and there is no reference to the research direction at present. Therefore, we'd like to provide valuable references to researchers and enhance the understanding of SNN through this study. We analyzed 4005 papers and 1318 preprints about SNN from databases including Web of Science, Advanced Intelligent Systems, arXiv, and ResearchGate. By using visualization tools named CiteSpace and wordcloud, we made multifaceted exploration and analysis including keywords, institutions and countries, authors, journals, references, and preprints. We have explored the possible future research hotspots and trends of SNN, and we also explored the most influential authors, institutions, and journals in this field.
