Abstract

Probability theory, one of the most commonly used branches of mathematics, has been widely applied to various fields. The purpose of this paper is to make a comprehensive review of the probability theory. To carry out the general overview, this paper combines the key contents and proofs of random events of probability, random variables and distribution, and law of large number, successfully set up a brief summary of the achievements made in the above areas and prospect the future development of probability theory.
