Abstract
This paper proposes a virtual flower pattern generation method based on data mapping. By analyzing real plants and flowers, a virtual flower structure system is constructed in the node-based visual programming tool Touchdesigner. The concept of data mapping is used to convert picture color data into digital information, which is connected to the virtual flower structure system to generate virtual flowers with diverse forms and rich colors. Finally, combined with the diverse presentation media of new media art, it creates a sense of experience, substitution, and integrity of the work.
