Abstract
An intelligent identification method of 10kV cable insulation fault under damped oscillation wave voltage is designed. Control the amplitude of damping wave, infer the equivalent circuit, confirm the reflection law of electrical signal, measure the distance of fault points through classification method, distinguish the fault points, and realize the intelligent identification of 10kV cable insulation fault. The experimental results show that the proposed identification method has high accuracy in the analysis of the current flowing through the main insulation of the cable, and the waveform at the breakdown voltage of 20kV and 10kV is basically consistent with the actual waveform.
