Abstract
Along with the development of lightweight tendency and safety requirement of automobile, the high strength steel (HSS) is used in automotive manufacturing more extensively. However, because of higher strength and toughness, its spring-back is relatively larger. This paper studied on the stamping springback problem of HSS, with the method of numerical simulation technology, the typical U-bending experiment of HSS was carried out, influence results of certain stamping parameters such as die gap, sheet thickness, binder hold force and friction coefficient were investigated. The common springback regulations of HSS U-bending were obtained.
