Abstract
At present, China's photovoltaic industry chain has a wider distribution of production capacity. However, there is a lack of research on the overall transportation optimization of the PV industry supply chain. In this paper, according to the statistics of production capacity across China's PV industry in 2019, the optimal transportation volume between regions is derived by importing and exporting in the vicinity, suppressing the production capacity of power-deficient regions, and preparing the optimal transportation model using MATLAB after leveling. It can be concluded that in 2019, the optimal transportation volume of each segment of China's PV industry chain of polysilicon, silicon wafers, silicon cells and modules is 75132GW.km, 112870GW.km, 29273GW.km and 8137GW.km respectively. The maximum transportation volume is 259650GW.km, 191610GW.km, 191610GW.km and 37101GW.km, which are 3.5 times, 1.7 times, 3.1 times and 4.6 times of the minimum transportation volume of each segment, respectively. Transportation planning for the supply chain is essential. If the PV production capacity in the eastern part of China is transferred to the western part of China, it is conducive to the construction of a green supply chain for China's PV industry.
