Abstract
Through the process of 3D reconstruction, the port’s layout and infrastructure can be presented in a visually immersive manner, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of its structure and distinctive features by relevant personnel. This also helps to optimize container storage and stowage schedules, while providing invaluable data support for port management and operations. Furthermore, it elevates the level of informatization and intelligence within the port, thereby playing a pivotal role in the advancement of intelligent shipping. Presently, traditional 3D reconstruction techniques and existing modeling software pose challenges such as time-consuming processes and low efficiency when reconstructing port scenes. In this study, we employ a multi-view shooting video of the port as input and introduce an enhanced Neural Radiation Field (NeRF) technology for 3D port reconstruction. This approach yields a high-fidelity 3D model of the port, which is then compared to conventional 3D reconstruction methods. The improved NeRF technique achieves superior reconstruction results within approximately 2 minutes, boasting a realistic effect and offering distinct advantages.
