This paper primarily investigates a target localization method for passive radar systems using a multi-receiver technique. The study examines the direction of arrival (DOA) observation equations and the Least Squares solution algorithm, as well as the Time of Arrival (TOA) observation equations and the Gauss-Newton iterative solution principle. Based on the above research, a multi-station localization method that combines angle measurement with grid search for multi-surface intersection is proposed. This method addresses the issues of low localization accuracy in DOA method and the potential non-convergence of TOA iterative solution algorithm, achieving high-precision target localization.
