Abstract
In large angular motion or other dynamic environments, the size effect can cause additional velocity error, which will consequently reduce navigation accuracy. In this paper, a calibration method for size effect error is discussed, and navigation experiments of swing motion under static base condition are conducted, which reveal that in a large angle motion environment, after compensating for inner lever arm (ILA) parameters, both velocity error and positioning error have a significantly decrease, with an improvement in positioning accuracy of over 30%.
