Abstract
In this paper, an improved PSO fuzzy PID rudder position controller is proposed to enhance the performance of the aircraft electric rudder control system, mitigate interference and nonlinear factors affecting rudder performance. The controller comprises a fuzzy PID controller and an improved PSO algorithm as its primary components. The fuzzy PID controller utilizes real-time system feedback to make decisions and dynamically adjusts PID parameters to enhance system adaptability to interference and model uncertainty. The enhanced PSO algorithm optimizes the search for fuzzy factors within the fuzzy PID controller, reducing manual workload and enhancing system control performance. Based on the mathematical modeling of the control system, some simulation experiments such as step response and sinusoidal response were performed. Comparison and analysis demonstrate that the proposed controller offers excellent dynamic and static response, along with robust anti-jamming capability.
