Abstract
This paper presents a numerical optimization based approach to the design of ridged waveguide E-planebandpass filters. Equal ripple approach to optimization is adopted. The calculated insertion loss of X-band afive resonator conventional and ridged waveguide E-plane bandpass filters with and without ideal impedanceinverters are presented.
