Abstract
A new hardware and software platform based on Windows for processing image and graphic information is developed, some advanced external equipment such as CCD camera, color scanner, printer and plotter are integrated together under the platform. The software package developed with Borland c++ includes four kinds of software for image and graph processing, an advanced text/image management information library, a GUI and an external control program. The platform may be used to perform the image input for the actual objects and plane diagram, processing for the complicated image, and specially, image and graphic output with large size.
