Abstract
In this paper, we will examine recent initiatives at the U.S. Army's Communication and Electronics Command Research and Engineering Directorate (CERDEC) to develop and establish and System of Systems Integration capability, together with the infrastructure and simulation facilities required to conduct collaborative distributed prototyping and evaluation. This new capability will permit the CERDEC's various Directorates in conjunction with other stakeholders in the RDA process to accomplish its mission of developing and integrating C4I2WS Systems for the XXI Century Army.
