Abstract
The military optical instrument is expected to stable performance in a wide range of temperature, so athermal optical system of high stability has been the hot topic. The paper puts forward hybrid refractive and diffractive method to athermalize the collimator, by means of which the collimator not only has the image quality approaching to diffractive limit and wider working range of temperature, but also has the characteristics such as small volume, simple structure and can meet the application demands in military use.
