Abstract
We study the parameters of micro-relief on the end of the fiber for focusing a linearly polarized Gaussian mode. Such micro -reliefs as refractive lens, diffractive lens, axicon and fractional axicon were considered. It is shown, that diffraction analogy of refractive relief is preferable in some cases for the coupling of waveguides with different diameters.
