Abstract
An improved method has been devised to measure the apex angle of a 60° prism based upon the knowledge of refractive indices and by measuring the angle of minimum deviation at different wavelengths. It is found that the error in measurement of the apex angle is less than 3% and that this method could supplement the other techniques used in an optical laboratory.
