Dr. Kazemi received Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in a joint program with the Robley Rex VA Medical Center and Medical Imaging Lab at the University of Louisville. His research interests include image processing and fluid dynamics of cardiovascular systems and machine learning with applications in flow control, multiscale modeling, and medical diagnosis.
