Jacob Murray
Profile Summary

I am a senior undergraduate optical engineering student at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. My previous work experience includes summer internships at both NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and L3 Technologies in Londonderry, NH. Through these internships I have gained valuable design experience in both Zemax and CodeV. At L3 I gained experience in lens design optimization, and at GSFC I gained experience in all aspects of CodeV, but especially the CodeV macro language; while at Goddard I wrote a code which allowed the Monte Carlo tolerance analysis in CodeV to give a final system performance which incorporates random surface deformation (which wasn't an option before).

Awards: Sophomore Optical Engineering Award, awarded to a student who shows a combination of academic excellence and great enthusiasm for the field.
