Min-su Kim received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 1993, 1995, and 2002, respectively.
During his graduate studies, he conducted theoretical and experimental research related to various second- and third-order nonlinear optical processes. In 2002, he joined the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon. He has engaged mainly in the research and development of functional optical devices concerned with nonlinear optical processes and/or planar waveguide structures. His recent works are related to practical application of plasmonic waveguide devices and realization of nano-scale photonic devices.
