With the development of multimedia and communication technologies in domains like telemedicine, it's critical to determine whether an medical image has been modified by some processing. Previous works mainly pay attention to the medical image modification based on global image processing methods. In this paper, we focus on local and global image processing detection, and propose a convolutional neural network (CNN) based method for this task. The input of the CNN is the characteristic function image (CFI) which is proposed in this paper and is extracted from the reorganized block-based discrete cosine transform coefficients. MURA dataset and 7 image processing methods are used to evaluate the proposed method and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
