Profile Summary

Xiaodi Tan received his B.Sc. degree in Optical Department from Shandong University in 1984, and his Master Degree in Optical Instruments from Beijing Institute of Technology in 1990, in China. His Ph.D. degree in Apply Physics from The University of Tokyo in 2001, in Japan. He is currently a professor and the director of the Information Optics Laboritory of the School of Optoelectronics in Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests is information optics which includes wave optics, holography, optical storage, optical information processing, optical security, optical metrology instrumentation, photonics crystral, information display technology, 3-dimensional display, color science and other optical applications.
