Abstract
GLHS - a generalized lightness, hue, and saturation color model is a generalization of several color models which are often used in computer graphics [5] 1. It enables the realization of different models as special cases of the generalized model by specifying the values of two parameters (referred to as weights). A uniform color space is a color model in which distances between points adequately represent perceptual distances between the colors represented by these points. We discuss the search for a particular assignment of the weights in the GLHS model that will yield a special case that is as close to uniformity as possible.
