Abstract
This article concentrates on the analysis of mercury concentration in uneven-aged needles of different wood species on the territory of peat bog ecosystems of Tomsk Region. The following original data is given: level of mercury accretion and peculiarities of allocation depending on a strain of conifers, needles age, and landscape and climate conditions. Mercury concentration data obtained on the territory of Tomsk Region does not exceed the data appearing in the cited literature. In general it lies within average concentration’s range for the territory of Siberia and Russia.
