Dual-energy CT (DECT) system can provide beneficial CT maps for inspection. To improve material discrimination capability, rich energy information is needed. Moreover, simple equipment is good for generalize DECT system. In this study, we proposed multi energy spectral CT imaging method by a general x-ray tube and a general CdTe energy integrating type flat panel detector (FPD). In the proposed method, x-ray incident to a side of FPD to acquire various energetically distinct datasets. CT images which applied image domain and projection domain subtraction methods were evaluated.
