Abstract
In order to improve the situation that the ground control points cannot be obtained in overseas regions and difficult measurement areas, solve the problem of difficulty in obtaining the ground control points and meeting demand for accuracy of block adjustment without ground control points, in this paper, based on the block adjustment, ICESat/GLAS laser points are proposed as known elevation control points to participate in block adjustment, and the runway method is used to evaluate the vertical accuracy of ZY-3 DSM products produced after block adjustment of stereo images. Experimental results show that the vertical accuracy of flat terrain produced in ZY-3 DSM products after adjustment assisted by ICESat/GLAS laser points is significantly improved comparing with the DSM products produced without control condition, and the elevation accuracy was improved by 2.47m on average.
