The safety of the utility of all structural elements is determined using testing procedures simulating chosen situations from the real world. The goal of the paper is to present experimental investigations focused on fire resistance of structures with rechargeable energy storage subsystems and construction elements. The analyses will be focused on the influences of sensors placement over the structures and environmental factors on the achieved results. The aim of the analyses are better understanding the processes occurring in the structures during their exposition to an open flame and increasing the quality of the testing methodology to increase the safety level.
