Abstract
There are many projects of road foundation pit underneath railway viaduct, but few studies considering the joint effect of pile foundation underpinning and road deep foundation pit. To study the deformation laws of existing subway viaduct undertraversed by deep road foundation pits using pile foundation underpinning technology, based on a project of a road deep foundation pit undercrosses the subway viaduct in Beijing using the pile foundation underpinning technology, the pile foundation underpinning scheme is determined by numerical simulation. Combined with the monitoring data, the deformation laws of the structure under the existing bridge are analyzed, and the feasibility of the pile foundation underpinning scheme is verified. The calculation results are as follows: 1) The pile underpinning parameters obtained by numerical simulation can meet the deformation requirements of existing piers during construction, In the pile underpinning stage, the maximum vertical deformation of the bridge pier is 1.904 mm, which occurs at the pier of the pile foundation underpinning. 2) In the excavation stage of foundation pit, the maximum vertical deformation of the pier is -2.982 mm, which occurs at the pier near the foundation pit of the road. 3) The numerical simulation results are consistent with the insite monitoring data.
