Abstract
The deformation coordination equation and static equilibrium equation of steel concrete composite beam section are established based on the flat section assumption. The formula for the calculation of the neutral axis of the combined beam and the formula for the calculation of the positive bending normal stress at any point on the cross-section are derived accordingly. An arithmetic example is given, and the formula is proved to be reliable by comparing the calculation results with the commutative section method and entity unit model.
