Abstract
In order to solve the essential problem of extending the network lifetime on the premise of ensuring the network quality of coverage, a redundant node decision rule based on binary sensing model and no accurate location information is proposed, and a dormancy scheduling algorithm based on clustering protocol (DSACP) is designed. Furthermore, the dormancy scheduling algorithm can select the set of active nodes and put the redundant nodes into a hibernation state. Simulation results show that the algorithm can select as few working nodes as possible, reduce the energy consumption of sensor nodes and extend the lifetime of the network.
