Abstract
Historic conservation area normally contains land with complex-use types, development and construction activities are restricted by the landscape protection policies. How to coordinate between protection of the historical landscape pattern and solution of the parking problem is one of the key issues. This study takes Langzhong ancient city as an example, analyzing the unique characteristics of parking problems in historic conservation areas, establishing parking demand and supply forecasting model, proposing improvement measures and Strategies based on traffic capacity under the background of resource constraints, which can be used to provide reference for solving the parking problem in historic conservation areas, guide and assist the research, decision-making and management of static traffic system improvement in historic conservation areas in the future.
