Abstract
In this paper, we study the general coupled nonlinear Schrödinger system (GCNLSS) which describes propagation of femtosecond pulse in birefringent fiber. By using direct integral method and the complete polynomial discriminant system method, we get different kinds of solutions including singular solutions, solitary wave solutions and elliptic function double periodic solutions.
