Abstract
This paper provides a new technical scheme and method for the lightweight design of metal structure through in-depth study and analysis of the design method of metal structure. Based on the finite element method and optimization design idea, and using the relevant national design standards, through the finite element analysis of the metal structure, and iterative optimization of the metal structure parts, under the premise of quality assurance, the overall optimization and lightweight of the structure, and ultimately reduce the overall weight of the structure. In this paper, ANSYS finite element software as a platform, 75 tons container gantry crane as the research object of metal structure lightweight design, to achieve the proposed design method, and achieve the desired effect.
