In this paper, the capacity of secondary battery with different chemical composition is compared under an identical temperature and depth of discharge. Major materials that are used as electrode are selected and compared with respect to their microstructure. It is concluded that bonding type inside the electrode largely dominates the capacity performance of the material as an electrode.
