Abstract
This paper presents a new design of superformula ultra wideband with two notched bands conformal antenna for UAV. Because of its low profile, the conformal antenna on the aircraft can effectively reduce the impact of air resistance. The dielectric substrate is Rogers Duroid 5880, and the final size of the antenna is 30 mm × 40 mm. In order to avoid interference with WiMAX and WLAN bands, two notched bands are obtained by using ring and ring slots on the radiating element. The results show that the impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 2.7-14 GHz, and the double notch band is [3.2-3.9 GHz] and [4.7-5.8 GHz].
