Abstract
In order to solve the problem of mechanism design of new energy participating in day-ahead spot market and promote the transaction bidding of new energy participating in spot market to improve its production efficiency, a new energy participating day-ahead spot market clearing method based on two-layer architecture was proposed. The upper structure is a conventional power unit transaction clearing model based on new energy generation prediction, which aims to maximize the consumption of new energy through conventional power unit transaction clearing and evaluate the expected wind and light curtailment power. The lower structure is a new energy transaction clearing model based on expected wind and light power abandonment, which aims to share the expected wind and light power abandonment in a market-based way and promote new energy to improve its production efficiency. Through the orderly connection of two layers of architecture, the generation plan of conventional power units and new energy power stations can be optimized and cleared. Finally, a numerical example is constructed based on the actual data of a provincial power grid to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. Compared with the traditional clearing method, the proposed clearing method can improve the efficiency of new energy power generation by more than 10%, which is helpful to further improve the efficiency of power grid operation.
