Abstract
In the context of large-scale connection of distributed PV to the grid, this paper proposes a heuristic algorithm-based method for assessing the maximum hosting capacity of distributed PV in distribution grids. Firstly, a distributed PV maximum hosting capacity model is established by considering constraints such as voltage deviation, short-circuit current, harmonic constraint and reverse load factor, under the condition that distributed PV installation point and initial capacity are known. Secondly, a heuristic optimization algorithm based on equal-step downward search is proposed to reduce photovoltaic capacity according to the order of indicators, so as to realize the evaluation of the maximum hosting capacity of distributed photovoltaic in the distribution network. Finally, the IEEE-33 node distribution system is then used to verify the effectiveness of the method, and the above security and stability constraints are individually analyzed to determine the strength of their limitations on PV capacity, and then the optimal reduction order is formulated according to the impact of different constraint indicators to improve the efficiency and practicality of the model calculation.
