Abstract
With the known target motion velocity and only using angle information, fixed single station can estimate the motion parameters of the moving target of constant velocity. The pseudo-linear estimator (PLE) is biased, which can be reduced by using instrumental variables (IV) method. In this paper, the fixed single station bearing-only target motion parameter estimation method based on prior velocity information is studied, a weighted instrumental variable (WIV) motion parameter estimation method is proposed and its performance is theoretically analyzed. Simulation experiments show that the proposed algorithm has strong robustness under large measurement angle error and velocity prior information error.
