Abstract
A filtering switch for the infrared band was designed by combining GST with a metasurfaces. When GST is in the crystalline state, the resonant wavelength corresponding to the narrowband in the transmission spectrum of the metasurfaces is 3.8 μm, with a quality factor Q of 84.4 and a modulation depth MD of 81.8%, achieving narrowband filtering performance for the switch. By using FDTD simulation, the transmittance of the metasurfaces at different degrees of crystallization of GST was calculated, and a continuously tunable narrowband filtering switch in the range of 3.00 μm to 3.80 μm was obtained. Finally, the influence of the structural parameters of the phase change material metasurfaces on its filtering characteristics was investigated through simulation, which facilitated the optimization of the metasurfaces structure, and the filtering switch was optimized to 3.8 μm.
