As an important equipment for oil storage, external floating roof tank will have oil and gas leakage accidents due to oil and gas corrosion and aging of materials, which will pose a certain threat to the safety of tank farm, and oil and gas leakage will pollute the atmospheric environment and easily cause social unrest. In this paper, CFD is used to study the oil and gas diffusion concentration when the sealing ring of external floating roof tank with different ratio of height and diameter leaks. The research results can provide theoretical basis for emergency rescue decision.
