Abstract
With the importance of communications for chipset networks. This paper studies the BER performance for communication considering impairments such as phase noise, dispersion and additive gaussian noise, the constructed system compensates for dispersion issues and then uses pilot tones to address and mitigate the effects of dispersion and phase noise. To further investigate the system's capability in handling dispersion and phase noise, comparative experiments were conducted to observe whether the system could still compensate for these issues under increased dispersion and phase noise conditions. The study found that the system performs well in addressing dispersion problems, however, its compensation effectiveness is limited when phase noise becomes excessively high.
