Abstract
This paper treats the effect of common-sensor and process noise on track-to-track association logic, which defines individual track-to-measurement association logic. Using a joint probabilistic approach, the processing unifies two fundamental correlation algorithms into one algorithm. The approach reduces computations, track-to-track misassociations, and individual track contaminations. Additionally, the logic improves sensor-to-sensor consistency in target motion and accuracy in sensor measurement and filtering.
