Abstract
We report the experimental generation of a linear optical path modulation of 20 (lambda) range with an accuracy of (lambda) /200 ((lambda) equals 633 nm) using a servo control system driving an optical fiber stretcher. The error signal is provided by mixing interferometric signals with an electronic oscillator corresponding to the pure sinusoidal variation of the detected interferometric signal under a pure linear optical path modulation.
