Abstract
Sensor technology development has progressed to the point where practical Enhanced and Synthetic Vision System Solutions are now realizable. An integral and vital element of such systems is the head up display since it has the unique ability to accurately and spatially display images which correlate to the real world, which is an essential requirement. Images thus presented are termed `conformal'. This paper describes a new generation HUD designed for these applications and the progress made toward it's certification.
