Abstract
Base on ETM+, TM and QuickBird satellite remote sensing images and other auxiliary materials of 1995 and 2004, regarding Longkou city, a small-media city located in Shandong province, relatively developed area of the east China, as the test area, the paper deals with the remote sensing data through the integrating and enhancing, making the information atlas, adopting the method of dividing layers of classification to draw the land utilizing information in studying area. Use the spatial analysis of GIS and mathematical statistics function, to analyze the essential feature of land utilization change in Longkou city in view of time and space, and to discuss driving force of land utilization change from natural and humane society. The analysis result can offer effective decision for relative authorities to support land sustainable utilization.
